My fascination with photographing wildlife is a direct result of my passion for landscape imagery. Finding and been able to capture images of animals in their environment in an esthetic/creative way has become a new challenge.

As a nature photographer I must study the animal’s behavior including migration, feeding and matting patterns in order to be able to create impactful an unique images. My quest for those elusive moments has taken me to all corners of the planet, including the Artic. Antarctic and the Tropics.

My approach to wildlife photography is to portray the creature in its habitat, showing where it lives, hunts and reproduces. I try to avoid close ups as for those I can go to a zoo.

I have learned that to be successful at this craft you need to be patient, be ready and have tons of luck. Nature rules and we are 100% at her mercy. Welcome to the Wild Side.
